Psychotherapist
Treatment Philosophy
Seeking support can be a meaningful first step, and I'm so happy you're here! My goal as a therapist is to create a genuine, supportive space where you feel understood and empowered to explore your experiences, strengthen confidence in yourself, and foster meaningful growth. Healing isn't always a linear process. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges.
Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and easy to talk to. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I also believe there is room for humor, laughter, and celebrating the small victories along the way. Therapy doesn't have to happen in a space that feels cold or clinical. I am committed to creating an environment where you can show up as your authentic self and feel supported throughout the process. You are the expert on your own experiences; my role is to walk alongside you, offer guidance and support, and help you build the skills and confidence needed to create lasting change.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, eating disorders and body image concerns, substance use, life transitions, and stress or burnout. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, and draws from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Intuitive Eating. I show up for clients by meeting them where they are at, and I strive to create a space that is empathetic, collaborative, and culturally responsive.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, fashion, skiing, reviewing movies on Letterboxd, and walking my perfect dog Chloe.

In my first year of my master’s program, I worked at Tanager Place in Cedar Rapids, IA, a residential treatment facility for at-risk children and adolescents struggling with severe mental health concerns and trauma. During my second year of graduate school, I completed a year-long internship at Health Hope Harmony in Cedar Rapids, IA, where I worked primarily with women experiencing eating disorders, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
As a recent graduate, I have completed the requirements for LPC licensure in Illinois. My LPC application is currently pending as it processes with the state board.
