Treatment Philosophy
Navigating the challenges of day-day life can feel overwhelming and isolating! You might be questioning reaching out for help or whether or not therapy is right for you. Regardless of what you might be experiencing, I believe in the power of authenticity, honesty, and humor and providing clients a safe and welcoming space to start feeling more fulfilled and connected. I utilize a client centered approach to therapy and believe in holding a welcoming, collaborative, and open space for all. I value individualizing my approach to therapy with clients in their journey to find stability, fulfillment, and a values-driven life.

I received my Bachelor’s in Public Health from Beloit College where I also played two years of collegiate volleyball and stopped due to double knee surgery. I then received my Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Adler University in Chicago. While completing my Master’s degree, I worked in a residential treatment program for adults and adolescents experiencing concerns related to eating disorders in downtown Chicago. Throughout my practicum and internship experience during my Master’s program, I worked in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care working with adults and adolescents experiencing concerns related to mood or anxiety disorders and eating disorders. Upon graduation from Adler, I’ve worked in an outpatient setting for the past 2 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am awaiting full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois.
